Blue-Green deployment of Sitecore solutions hosted in Azure PaaS

Some time ago I had the opportunity to incorporate the Blue-Green deployment strategy into a Sitecore solution hosted in Azure Platform-as-a-Service model.

To be completely honest, the task seemed scary at first. Fortunately, thanks to Sitecore's rule-based configuration and some Azure magic, it was nowhere as challenging as I initially thought it to be.

A couple of months later, an opportunity arose to write a blog post for the launch of Cognifide's tech blog and I chose to write about some of the issues we faced when going blue-green and how we solved them.
